Tamiya 251/1 Halftrack, 1/35
One of Tamiya's classic kits - the Hanomag 251/1. Finished this one a few years back and finally posting the finished model. I had a few spare benches and stowage bins but needed to scratch build a few more to replace the kit supplied interior benches. For tracks, I used AFV Club single piece tracks, much nicer detail than the Tamiya originals. I also found a pair of MG34's with good detail hiding in the spare parts box and used those. This one was fun to see how a little extra work can really help bring this old dog kit to life!
VERY nice job on this ancient mutt; a good coat of paint sure makes even the old stuff look excellent

Looks like it was operated in Belarus during the Russian spring rains. Great weathering.
