Merkava Mk.IV (1/72)
This is one of my first projects in 1/72.
For my return I chose a Merkava because the Revell Merkava was one of my very first models.
When I was browsing, the Black Dog dio caught my eye and I thought this could fit together.
I would say the Hobby Boss kit (82915) is pretty good.
Small deductions in the detailing of the tracks
and the area above the idler wheel still needs to be closed, as this is shown open and you can see the inside of the upper hull.
In addition, I added the chain hanging on the turret and parts of the rear side skirts with conversion parts from model Trans Modellbau (MT7202).
Also added the ammunition feed and wiring to the front MG.
At the Black Dog dio (D72010) I reworked the street area,
added a walkway, a street lamp, air conditioning, custom windows and other details.
All extensions were created in scratch build.
The IDF soldiers are from Caesar Miniatures (H057), the tanker is from Modell Trans Modellbau and converted Streetfighter from Armory Model Group (F7219).
