F-4J of VX-4 Point Mugu, 1/72 Monogram

The white bunny scheme was only carried on this for a few years in the seventies as opposed to the more famous black bunny. Aircraft was white, the markings were gray with no national insignias. I used Tamiyas US Navy insignia white rattle can AS-20, which might have been a mistake because there's a noticeable hint of grayish blue.

The kit was I used was a F-4C/D, with the appropriate naval modifications, removal of the nose I.R. probe,

proper turkey feathers [exhaust cans] Intake ECM antennas.

  3. Very attractive scheme Robert. I loved build the 1/72 Phantoms and even rescribed a couple. But I used to struggle with those damn intakes. Argh!
