  1. Beautiful Work! Truly beautiful and stunning work, of an interesting plane. Your figure is excellent.

  2. Amazing as always! I love the distressing of the fabric - if I tried to do that it would look like I tried to chip metal, but it looks so organic here. The weathering and other staining is just beautiful. I'm intimidated...!

  3. Excellent in every respect, David!

  4. Level of realism is remarkable...right down to the pilot's sheepskin coat...authentic and...small.

  5. Weathering ,paint and build is Ace !

  6. Flaming Hell! Look at that rigging! Absolutely the best WW1 genre model I have ever seen.

(Erm... It IS a model isn't it?)

  7. Just the wing rib details alone makes this kit standout David. Perhaps your best work (so far…) absolutely gorgeous

  8. Impressive as always, David @mentaldental
Your attention to detail is superb.
Also the pilot is a work of art.

  9. Another masterpiece, Dr Lane. I'd love to share my favorite "finding" with this DH, but really the whole thing is just masterclass... This model really depicts the subject, subject to a believable "time & place" environment. WONDERFUL build, and museum quality, no doubt.

  10. When I grow up I want to be able to build models as well as you do... Beautiful work.

  11. All around excellent modeling!

  12. Of all your great WNW models, which are all both fantastic and superb, this is the fantasticest and superbest. The weathering and wear is just amazing in its realism.

  13. Wow. Your models are what I hope mine look like.

  14. Lovely work...excellent result David.

  15. Excellent build and great figure work!

  16. Gents you're making me blush!
If only you knew the PIA this was to get right...I completely messed up the first attempt at the weathering and stripped it off...you live and learn!

Many thanks for the kind comments.
