BW Panzerhaubitze 2000 in Afghanistan (1/72)
Here is my Panzerhaubitze 2000 of the German Bundeswehr in action in Afghanistan.
Even if the Revell kit (03121) is a bit older (2000), it convinced me with its quality.
The turret is almost a complete molded part, only the rear wall and front still have to be attached.
The lower part of the hull also consists of one large molded part.
However, the upper part consists of individual elements.
However, the fit of all parts works quite well.
Points are deducted from the gun barrel, which consists of two halves, and the muzzle brake is shown in a somewhat simplified form.
In addition, I used a PE detail set from Hauler (HLH72084), which was a useful addition.
It did add some time to the building phase, but it was worth it.
I also rebuilt the gun rigging and modeled the canvas.
I built the base myself.
Mainly acrylic structure pastes, sand of different sizes and small stones were used.

Excellent model, hard to believe itโs 1/72 judging from those first pics. Fabulous really

Another amazing result, Simon! Indeed, as Pedro said, it is really hard to believe it is only 1/72!

A quality build performed, Simon @s-nagorsnik
Achieving this result in 1/72 requires special skills.
