Trumpeter 1/35 German Railway Gun K5(E) Leopold
After finishing the tamiya Tiger 1 late. I decided for my next model to be a big one and the Trumpeter 1/35 German Railway Gun K5(E) Leopold is definitely a big one. With a finished size of over 3 feet ( 1 meter) and over a thousand parts it will be by far the biggest model I have attempted. While I was at it I also purchased the Leopard gun crew figure kit. The figure kit has eight figures six of which I plan to use in a diorama with a Panzer 4 Late.
After 10+ hours of work I have finished only half of each of the rail trucks. In the meantime I am also working on the Panzer 4 Late that will end up in the same diorama as the Leopard. I would estimate that it will not take me any less than a year to finish the Leopard.
