July 20, 2022 · in Aviation · · 13 · 1.5K

This is another of my "Long Term Builds"... in fact they all are.
Just for Fun, I scratchbuild it engine, rebuild cockpit (I really don´t like decals for instrument panels), Added some bits of palstic, wires and stretched sprues to the cargo bay.
Hope you enjoy it

  1. A wonderful result out of a challenging kit, Roberto Flavio! A wonderful build thread too!
    Congratulations!

  2. Looking great, Roberto @flavioalonzo
Your sratchbuild engine looks really nice,
    Well done.

  3. I like it very much, Roberto, not a gun or bomb in sight. Those drooping rotor blades make it look like some kind of giant spider.

  4. @flavioalonzo its a beauty, next to do are mi-6, 10, 12 if you have space. 😛
regarding sagging blades, after some time on my Amodel mi-6 and mi-12 all blades broke from rotor head, just where blade airfoil begins.

  5. Nice work! That’s an impressive helicopter.

  6. Nice work! An interesting bit of information - the tail guard folds up, when the rear cargo door opens, not to interrupt the loading process.

  7. Well done, Roberto (@flavioalonzo). Really nice model with an unusual paint scheme. I also enjoyed your build thread.

  8. Great work @flavioalonzo thanks for sharing, even in this scale must be quite a beast... If mine, I would dress it up as a ventilator to please the other half 😉

  9. Thanks al lot for your comentaries... thats something that I really enjoy in this group...

  10. Looks great - very nice in that pristine UN scheme.

  11. Superb build, helicopter and armor.

  12. Nicely done Roberto, well detailed.
