Not much to say here, but just experimenting. Saw a photo of a similar scene and thought I'd replicate it. Will probably add a figure or two, not sure. But a dog would probably be added if the figures do not work out.

  1. What you need Charles is a Junk Yard dog. In the states I've come across some yards with German Shepard's or
    Rottweilers.

I like your approach to modeling . . . out box and seeing the world from a different perspective.

    Two thumbs up.

  2. Unusual but very well done dio.
Thanks for the tips, because they've helped my improve my weathering skills.

  3. As usual, it is really hard to convince myself I am not looking at a 1:1 scale.
    Congratulations, my friend Charles!

  4. At first,I was looking for the dio,for I tought it was the real deal!Congratulations!

  5. Incredible realistic looks, Charles @tiking
Even though every diorama of you looks perfect already, the next one still looks even better, like this one.
    Another excellent build.

  6. You can't kid me! That IS an actual junkyard!

    Great work (as usual) Charles.

  7. Here, Charles takes his modeling skills/results to levels of realism rarely, if ever, seen. Absolutely WONDERful.

  8. Thatโ€™s some serious scrap metal! I really believe that only you, Mr King, is capable of pulling off this kind of modeling. Once again, weโ€™ll done!

    • Awwwwwww! Although there are many others who can do it better than me, I will take those words with great humbleness and encouragement. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I have to admit Charles at first I thought these were your reference pictures for a dio to follow, a proper scabby looking dog chained to a rotten old kennel would add a bit more , not that it needs it this is brilliant as usual, well done.

  10. Amazing workโ€ฆ it looks like photos of a real scene.

    • Thank you. Here is the actual image that inspired this scene, along with images collected.

  12. Rust never sleeps. And you never fail to impress Charles! More great work from the master of disaster! ?

  13. Nice job, Charles (@tiking). It takes some real skill to create a diorama that doesn't look staged, and you have done it perfectly.
