Lancia Delta Integrale 12th scale Italeri.

I've been working on this on and off for about five months. Generally a good kit with no real fit issues. Things that did disappoint were a lack of information for adding plumbing to the fire extinguisher and hydraulic hand brake systems ( I added best guess details for these). No internal structure for the tailgate or the roof and no decals for the diagonal stripes on the door cards (I made my own)

I'm happy with the result but you'll have to forgive the artistic licence with the weathering.

Rob.

  1. Excellent result, Robert @robert-aspinall
    Great details and ditto weathering.
A nice realistic looking Delta, the real one as well.

  2. A fantastic result, Robert! Weathering is absolutely stunning!

  3. I’ve been on the cusp of buying this kit a couple of times, a 12th scale Lancia in Martini colours, what could possibly go wrong? The fact that it is an Italeri kit, for me, is what could go wrong. They’ve chosen some great prototypes but there always seem to be problems. However, you’ve made a terrific model from this kit, and by the looks of your garage, you’re obviously a Lancia fan. Maybe I could be tempted...

    • Thanks George for the positive feedback.
I hope my comments haven't put you off building this kit it's just typical Italeri, brilliant in parts but lacking a little in others.

Unfortunately the pictures were not taken in my garage, I just borrowed it for the evening?

  4. Along with fun, artistic license is a huge aspect of our hobby and you have it in spades. Very nicely done, Robert!

  5. Great job Robert, the weathering looks spot on! I love artistic licence...

  6. Thank you everyone for the positive comments. They are much appreciated?.

  7. You can't kid me! You took photos of a real one and photoshopped them to make us think they were model photos! 🙂

That's very nice, and it really is "highly realistic."

  8. Thanks Tom.
I spent a lot of time trying to avoid the toy like appearance some larger scale models can have.

  9. Thought I would add some images of the build for those who are interested.
