Marchetti 88 (SIAI SF260M+ diorama)

The SIAI Marchetti SF260M+ is an italian trainer and light ground attack monoplane designed around 1964. I represented my own version from the belgian Red Devils Aerobatic Display Team that in 2019 celebrated the 50th anniversary (not 88!) using the type.
The excellent kit is from Special Hobby - duo pack which includes a full colour pictured book that not all brands might offer to track every detail in your model! The only but is that the version "wheels up" is not expected. Anyway, I was not on the level for this kit: I did not planned it well. For instance I did not check beforehand colors like the Vallejo Model Air yellow or Ammo red wich are completely useless (maybe as an unknown filter...maybe) for not mentioning to test gloss varnish before applying it. Finally I had to rely on diluted Vallejo Model Colors.
And among the 8 versions available for this aircraft I chose the one filled with never ending stencils...:) 🙂 :)!
The pilot is from belgian PJproduction manufacturer.
At least I am happy that my hair goes along the kit, as static dischargers!
Luckily I still have the other Duo kit to plan and do things better next time
