T-80BV Russian MBT (1/72)

At Trumpeter 1/72nd scale models, i'm always a bit skeptical about quality as far as details are concerned.
They are not bad, clean casting and good fit and so on, also here everything is available, but I am bothered that always somewhere in the finish is saved on the details.
For my taste, small but essential details are often missing.
In order to satisfy myself a little better, I made a few minor changes and added small details that I took mostly out of the leftover box.
In addition I used a gun barrel from OKB Grigorov (S72065) and the commander ́s shield from Armory (AR PE7252)
The anti-tank barriers and letters were made by a friend of mine with the 3D printer.
But despite everything, they always offer sufficient quality for "quick fun" and little money - that fits.

Another fantastic result, Simon! Your extra effort raised significantly the level of detail!
Great work Simon! Thanks for posting some armour on here, we need more of it! I love the finished product, looks very much like an AFV in the field on operations. Your weathering and extra details really bring this to life.
The display base adds that final touch to the the model and makes it look that much better. My compliments sir!
Nice work, Simon.
Looks amazing, Simon @s-nagorsnik
