IDF Merkava Mk.IV (1/72)
This is one of my first finished projects in 1/72nd scale.
For this project i've used the HobbyBoss Merkava Mk.IV (82915).
A nice kit with good details.
I removed the fan and exhaust grills and changed them through PE grills.
I also improved some small details.
I've added antennas, .50 ammo belt, used resin turret- chains and side skirt parts from Modell Trans Modellbau (MT72202/ MT72239 ).
There is a large gap above the tension wheel that needs to be closed.
The Black Dog (D72010) I resin dio- base is improved with much additional scratch elements.
Figures are from Modell Trans Modellbau, Armory (F7219) and Caesar Miniatures (H057).
A nice model all round, Simon, the added details really help with the realism.
Sweet Dio. First impression that the kit was in 1/35 scale. Some strong work in the paint dept with well painted figures. Photos are sharp and clear and do a good job or showing your work Simon.
