1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4 Phantom II VMFAT-101 SharpShooters
Here is my latest build for a former F-4 pilot and member of USMC VMFAT-101. This kit is the Tamiya 1/32 scale kit. From what I can tell this is an older kit, but still a fairly straight forward. Added a real aluminum exhaust area and tail section, scratch built details for the ejection seats.
Build time: 175 hours, 3 weeks
Fun build! Now on to a Tamiya motorcycle for a customer.
Speechless, Rick @rickschad
The overall finish is already perfect but the aluminum tail section and work on the ejection seat is a work of art.
Thanks John! I like taking things a little further 😀
Cracking build Rick. Bet you have one happy customer waiting for this one 👍
Thanks Guy! I hope he’s happy! He gets her today 😀
Looks great, Rick!
Thank you Christopher 😀
Phanrastic Phantom build! The ejection seat detail is phenomenal!
Hahahahaha thanks so much!
That’s sharp, Rick!
0_0 amazing !
Thanks Axel! Most grateful
Fantastic job, Rick! Extreme attention to every detail!
Thanks for always viewing my art! It’s most appreciated!
Nice work on this oldish Tamiya kit, nice subtle weathering makes it look smart but not immaculate. Looking forward to seeing the motorbike.
Thanks George! I will be posting the bike next! Stay tuned!
Excellent build! I just bought another 8 Phantoms (ebay lot), so I'm definitely a fan of the Rhino, and this is a good-looking one!
You must be serious Phantom fan! Thanks so much!
