Revell 1/48 Arado 234C-3

September 9, 2024 · in Aviation · · 21 · 224

The Arado 234C was equipped with four BMW 003A instead of the pair of Jumo 004 engines. Not only that the aircraft gained additional thrust, but also more Jumo engines could boost the Me 262 manufacturing effort.

's Arado is an adaptation of / kits and boasts with fine details, particularly in the cockpit area. I added scratch made parts, such as brake cables and harness, visible through the large plexiglass cockpit. Thanks to the redesign of the Arado 234A/B kits, the fit of parts is considerably better than the original kits.

  1. Nice work on an interesting model, Rafi. I wondered why they developed the four engine model at such a late stage in the war.

  2. Are you presenting old models? It’s several a day..nicely done ..

  3. Great Arado, Rafi. Beautiful paint work. Germany was so far ahead in avation technology in the 30s and 40s, its a shame the way it all had to play out.

  4. With regards to the redesign, did Revell cut new molds to fit the earlier kits. New wings and things?

  5. Excellent result, Rafi!
    Great scratch additions, too!
Thanks for the info on the redesigned parts by Revell, very interesting.

  6. An impressive build of this Arado variant, Rafi @blackmopane
What kind of pods are mounted underneath the wings.

  7. Superb work again Rafi. Love the subject and the scheme you chose!

  8. Lovely as always. I like that scheme, with the light grey woven into the camo. I nice change from the normal splinter.
