  1. How can you do so many wonderful models in quick succession?! If I could do them as well as I do my stash would dry out so quickly...

  2. It takes your painting talents for it to look so authentic. Well done!

  3. Great work as usual. My uncle flew this plane in WWII.

  4. Very nice. Which paints did you use?

  5. Outstanding build and very realistic finishing.

  6. Awesome job, Rafi!
    Congratulations!

  7. That is beautiful! I've had one in the stash for years everytime I see such a wonderful build I tell myself I need to get it out

  8. Definitely a kit that stands the test of time, and your modeling skills made the best of what was in the box.

  9. A beauty - my favorite part of this is the look of the white you achieved on the bottom. Would be interested to know your process for ending up with such a natural-looking weathered off-white.

  10. Well Done! A beautiful result, and I couldn’t agree more. Best kit of the type in any scale, hands down.

  11. Nice Turkey, Rafi!

  12. Very nice, Rafi @blackmopane). Paint and subtle weathering are perfect.

  13. What more to add, Rafi @blackmopane
Such a beautiful build and excellent painting result on this tri-color scheme.

  14. G’day Rafi (@blackmopane),
Another great build of a great kit.
    Liked!

  15. Agreed, it is an outstanding kit, and wonderfully assembled and painted. Did you mask the canopy interior or paint the exterior with chromate green before the blue? I have seen masks for sale that include separate pieces for the interior. I think I would go mad just trying to place them properly.

    • Thank you, Russell.
Traditionally, I take shortcuts with respect to canopy painting. Canopy interior is brush painted from the inside if visible and camouflage is brush painted on the outside. Excess dry paint is removed with a tooth pick.
