1/16 3D printed Mandalorian & Grogu

January 26, 2025 · in Figures · · 5 · 107

A 3D printed resin Mandalorian & Grogu. I am assuming it's a computer generated file available from many sources. Casting is fantastic, fit is great too. Some of the resin is a bit of a throw back to the 90's early casting where warped parts were common but boiling and ice water sorted those issues. Two figure options were included in the kit, one with the long rifle and Grogu or the Mandalorian on his own with the jet pack fitted. Basically I wanted all the bits to fit, so by cutting and refilling sections I managed to get all bits on him. Painted in Citadel Contrasts, oils, metals and acrylics. Was a great build with lots of fun and trying new techniques. Never to old to learn. May go for a Stormtrooper Scout on a speeder bike next. 😊

  1. That's cool. I imagine Mando is strutting in Beskar Armor but probably damn near impossible in real life.

  2. This is a cool model, Guy @thom

  4. Amazing paint job. I have a lot to learn.
