Trumpeter 1/32 F100 D Super Sabre
My latest build with the following corrections and additions:
1)Corrected the inaccurate nose intake with plastic card & Magic Scalp.
2) Shortened the main undercarriage so that the model sat with a more nose up attitude.
3) Cockpit and wheel wells from Aires
4) 3D printed afterburner & exhaust and fuel tank and MK 82 Snakeyes from Reskit
5) got rid of that nasty step behind the slats. There is no step there as it is a smooth transition onto the wing.
The kit loadout was typical for the jet in Vietnam. Often referred to as the " shake & bake" loadout.
Kit decals were used and were excellent although I have no idea how accurate they are. This was a very enjoyable build with no issues and a welcome addition to my Vietnam collection.
Great looking build! Thanks for sharing.

Love the Hun! You did a great job on this.
Thanks Greg. Yes the Hun has to be one of my favorite jets.
Well done! Outstanding paintwork.
Thanks John
Beautifully done. I’ve always been a fan of the Hun, especially after seeing the Thunderbirds performing in them off Waikiki beach in the late 60s when I was a kid.
Thank you Greg.
