Wingman Model 1/48 Nesher
With modern military aircraft officially prescribed camouflage schemes vary. The green hues within IDF's "Desert" camouflage scheme is subject to the most changes in color. Color photographs in optimal light conditions are necessary to reconstruct the correct color. Wingman's box art of the Nesher provides just that.
The kit itself is difficult given the problematic Kinetic Mirage mold platform and the added resin part modifications to represent the Nesher, an upgraded Mirage IIIC to match with the embargoed Mirage 5.
Another beauty! I love both the Mirage, and the IDF desert scheme - 2 of my favorite subjects.
Thank you, Greg!
You did a wonderful job on this difficult kit, Rafi @blackmopane
Thank you, John.
Absolutely stunning result, Rafi!
A most challenging project, built in excellence!
Thank you, Spiros!
I've always wondered why planes are painted with camouflage schemes if they're also going to be given big colorful markings.
In this particular case, there was a danger of confusion by ground forces with enemy aircraft and IDF fighters were added with the yellow triangles.
Nice work, Rafi. I think Humbrol’s Israeli colors are pretty spot on, especially the green #120.
Than you, John.
Precisely.
Very striking. Nicely done
Thank you, Gary.

Thank you, Guy.
