Paneuboean Miniature Club 24th Contest
My local club's 24th static modeling contest exhibition took place on the weekend of 29-30 March 2025. Bigger and better than last year, it was by all means a well organized, successful event, with many great models not only from various Greek modelers, but also including foreign entries.
Highlight of the contest was the official participation of The Νon-commissioned Air Force Officers' School, a first in modeling contests!
The contest was enriched with the presence of Ancient Greek and WWII revivers outside of the contest area.
Quite a few visitors honored us, together with city officials.
Thanks for taking the time reading through here! Below are some pics of the event.
Happy Modelling!
Thanks for sharing, its always neat to see what other modelers around the world are doing. It looks like some really nice work too!
Thanks my friend @gruntdoc! More pics to upload!
Looks like a really nice day Spiros, I really like the truck offloading a container any information on that one ? , might like to try it as a project.
Hope you and your family are well .

Thanks my friend @neil-foster! You can see more pics uploaded!
I will try to find info on the truck and tell you.
Love this! Did you have any enteries this year?
Thanks my friend @dbutlr! Yes, Pendedekas family participated (with my two sons). Won some medals too!
Great photos, Spiros @fiveten. Quite a turnout. Which models are yours? Is that your son standing between those two re-enactors?
Thanks my friend @eb801! Pendedekas family entries can be seen at the next to last pic.
Yes, this is Loukas, my elder son!
What a wonderful event, Spiros @fiveten
Good to hear that it even became bigger and visited more than the previous year.
Seems like your club is attracting others to, hopefully, start modelling as well.
That's a great picture of Loukas.
Thanks so much, my friend @johnb!
Hi Spiros
Some very nice work there(including yours). I particularly liked the 'bazooka Vespa'. Was it real?
Thanks my friend @christopher! I think the builder of the bazooka Vespa used some artist's license.
Looks like a great exhibition, Spiros, thank you for sharing the photos. Good news as well on promoting our wonderful hobby.
Thanks so much, my friend @chinesegeorge!
Spiros (@fiveten), having a show/exhibit is a good way to reach out to the community and include your sons in the hobby. I am always impressed at how people can be separated by oceans, time zones, languages and have the same interests. From the pictures and all of the photos it looks like you, your wing men and club are doing a good job of spreading the good word.
Thanks so much for all kind words, my friend @stephen-w-towle!
It looks like a great show! Congrats on picking up some awards. I wonder which kit the Citroen cabriolet was built from.
Thanks my friend @magoo! Will ask who built the Citroen and write you back.
What a great event and so nice to see all the varieties of kits built!
Thanks my friend @champagnecrc!
That F-5E Lightning sure looks familiar...I wonder where I Have seen it before 😉
Great photos Spiros, and great looking entries.
Congrats on the awards.
Thanks so much, my friend @georgeswork!
Looks like a great event, Spiros. I like that lineup of 1/32 Greek Phantoms. Those are some big models with impressive finishes.
Thanks my friend @j-healy! All 1/32 Phantoms were Νon-commissioned Air Force Officers' School entries!
Well done Spiros, thanks for posting.
Thank you, my friend @kalamazoo!
Wow, i would have loved to be there and see all the models. Some great dioramas, Spiros @fiveten.
Thanks so much, my friend @fxrob!
I love the diversity of the subjects and the revivers outside!
Thanks my friend @jsummerford!
G’day Spiros (@fiveten),
Wkat a great club display.
It must be a reasonably large and productive club to have so many entries.
Thanks my friend @michaelt!
Our active members are not more than 40. We are well known to other Greek and a few foreign modeling societies.
LOL I like the Pink Panther! @fiveten
Thanks my friend @beauslx! Yes, the Pink Panther was amazing 😁
Some lovely work on display!
Thanks my friend @gkittinger!
