9/2025

Dad´s factory output continues...

This time it´s the excellent Clear Prop kit of the Argentine Hawk 75O. Built oob, only added EZ Line for the antenna wires. Wing walkways and prop blade tips are painted, no decals provided. Airframe painted with AK RC (new ones) Aluminium.
BTW, if anybody from Clear Prop reads this, thanks again for the replacement decals 🙂

Argentina bought 29 H75O from the US, delivery started in 1939. Further 20 were licence-built in Argentina. Initially, in service with the Argentine Army Airforce, the planes came in shiny silver. Later on, when the Airforce became independent in January 1945, the planes were painted green over blue.

Model shows an aircraft of Grupo 1 de Caza, Argentina Air Regiment 2, Army Aviation Command in 1944.

  1. Some aircraft look more "correct" than others, this is one of them. Beautiful in its simple (non-existent!) colour scheme, it really brings out the details and lines.

  2. That looks really nice! The Hawk wears that scheme well.

  3. Your dad's factory is at full steam and produces some really nice models, Reinhard @grimreaper
This Argentine Hawk is no exception. Very nice result.

  4. Another Spreitzhofer masterpiece, Reinhard!
    Well done!
