Deutsche Luftwaffe Two Focke-Wulf 190
The Focke-Wulf FW 190, was one of the most famos Fighter Aircraft of World War II. It was arguably the most successful Piston Engine development developed during the war.The Focke-Wulf 190 first Flew in June 1939. Along with the Messerschmitt Bf 109, it Formed the Backbone of the German Air Force.

The Focke-Wulf Aircraft of Schlachtgeschwader 4 were always distinguierend by the particularly striking Paint Scheme on the Spinner and Canopy Area. While the A Variants still had the entire Engine Cowling in Yellow, the Paint Scheme was now Reduced to the Armor ring and fan Area for Camouflage Reasons. The Spinner was Painted in a striking Yellow with a Black and White spiral.

Wnr. 172733 was one of the Longest-serving Aircraft in 5th Squadron in November1944. In an Aerial Combat on September 27, 1944, the Red "19" was damaged by a P-51D Mustang Pilot by Major Niven K. Cranfill. With over 30 Hits, including grazing a treetop, Uffz. Schröder Made a clean Landing on the Runway in Köthen. With only 25% Damage, the Aircraft was sent for Repair. Schröder still Remembers that his first Maintenance Officer didn't speaks to him for several Days.
A great pair of 190's! I'm a fan of the A/F short-nosed birds versus the long-nosed versions.

Which of the two kits do you prefer.
My favorite piece is the one with the yellow spinner, Revell has more detail in the kit than in the decals.
