  4. Me-262: Part #4/5 - hideout details
  5. Me-262: Part #5/5 - Me-262 hide-out

Following the previous posts, today I'll show the added elements: what I build and scratch-build and the planning phase. Its taking shape 🙂

The place was abandoned in a hurry, and some elements with it. The Kettenkrafrad usualy used to tow the aircraft stayed too.

Despite not being an airfield, we needed oil drums so, lets add some. As the place is abandoned, they should be dirty and with some rust. I started to paint them hull red followed by a coat of chipping varnish. A coat of acrilyc pait and lets beat them 🙂

As always, tools are need, so lets scratch built some. The spare box provides the rest as well as engine covers, bombs and all.

Things are taking shape! let's try to place the aircraft and see what to do next 🙂
As said before (regarding the kettenkraftrad) the Me-262 was towed to the highway it used as a runway. So we need the cart and some cables:

How about planning the setup and add some more details before putting it all together?

Hope you like how its going.
Until next time!
