MiG-21PFM (94A) from 2nd PLM at Goleniów c.a. 1978 ; Eduard ; 1/72
This article is part of a series:
About the aircraft:
MiG-21PFM - representative of the second generation of MiG-21 aircraft. 132 aircrafts were used in Poland. "022" was in first group of delivered PFMs - a bit different than others because manufactured in Gorky factory.
About the copy:
MiG-21PFM with the side number 022 - used in the 40th Fighter Air Regiment at Świdwin. In 1971 moved to the 2nd Fighter Air Regiment at Goleniów. Presented livery shows plane after major overhaul - turquoise cockpit and all plane paint with silver livery.
About the model:
The base was Eduard's kit "MiG-21PFM" in 1/72 scale. Own decals, mainly Bilmodel paints.
Presented configuration is correct (prepared for war conditions) and normally not used. SPRD-99s (RATO) were used only occasionally without any weapons just for training purposes.

Beautiful MiG, Konrad @konrad
Great picture of your collection of MiGs as well.
Thanks @johnb - I hope it's just a beginning of my collection 🙂
Nicely done Konrad, (@konrad) all four of them !
Thanks 🙂
Ooooooooooo very very nice Mig Konrad. Good start on your collection 👍
I hope I'll have enough patience to finish my plans 🙂
They say ‘ three’s a charm’ but your four MiGs do look awesome.
What product did you use for the NMF?
Great looking paint finish.
I used few different paints (there are four different liveries on that model 🙁 ) but last one (visible) was made using AK Xtreme Metal.
Well done, and a very nice line-up of -21's!
5 years ago I didn't plan build even one jet. Now I want to extend this line and extend... 😀
Nice MiGs, Konrad. The -21 is my favorite jet.
Thank you 🙂
