When I see kits done this well, I closely study the different elements that went into its finish. It brings to mind Yogi Berra’s “You can observe a lot just by watching.” I learn what I can here on iModeler by observing. That said, the black bordered gray stripes somewhat adjacent to the wing fold are new to me. Are they decals? And as a last question, what was your base coat for these. Overall S for spectacular.

The gray stripes were also new to me and are kit decals. Base coat were Tamiya enamels mixed to get the right hue and shine.
