SparkVark: 1/48th Academy EF-111A Raven
The 1/48th Academy EF-111A Raven is a fairly basic kit with simplified details throughout the model. There are no wing slats & flaps details, however if you are looking for a basic representation of a "SparkVark" for a relatively low cost, this kit may be your best jump off point.
If you are looking for a nice accurate F-111 series aircraft in 1/48th scale, sorry to say, I don't think it exists as yet. The 1/48th Hobby Boss kit provides much more detail including the wing slats and flaps, however misses the mark in a number of areas (as does this kit). In the end this Academy EF-111A Raven suited my purpose of providing a low-cost model that looks basically like a SparkVark on the shelf, if you don't over analyse it.

Thanks for looking & good luck on your next build.

Excellent F-111!
Thanks Spiros (@fiveten)
Miss these old birds filling the sky. Nice looking F-111.
Yes, they are big birds, so filling the sky would be true enough. Thanks Vic (@vicbalshaw)
A very nice result, @flypastrush
Thanks John, (@johnb) turned out decent enough for a low cost build
Well done!
Thanks Gary (@gwskat)
Nice! You don't see many of these built up!
Thanks Greg (@gkittinger) Probably because the kit takes up a lot of real estate, especially with the wings extended... although that didn't seem to slow down the Tomcat builders 🙂
Nice build. I agree with everything you've said about accuracy and build issues. I've always liked the F-111 and collected the Academy kits. Built the FB-111 several years ago with lots of add-ons, including resin wings. The FB's were based at Pease AFB, several hours north of me, so I occasionally saw them around. My EF-111 kits is near the surface of my stash and may get built soon.

Thanks Chuck (@charleshorner) That is one Great looking FB-111 build you put together there! It is inspiring when you get to see the real thing come by you on occasion. Looking forward to eventually seeing your EF-111 build - Cheers
Very sharp!
