Building since about 1954. My Father was a builder & u-control flyer & got me started. Moved to Indy from Cincinnati when I was 10. We left over 200 built models on my walls & hanging from the ceiling.
Married for 43 years with one 40 year old child who is a first responder.
Will start anything that strikes my fancy. Finishing it is another matter.

Change of Scenery

This is a 1/32nd scale Rolls Royce Sedanca by Pyro molded in 1966. It is from the same time frame as the 1940 Ford posted by Jeff Stewart. It was in a series of 12 cars called "Table Top Classics". Cost ranged from $.79 to $1.00. Came with rubb[...]

D.520 AMS Relief Project – Pt 3

Finally got this done. This is #3 of a same kit build (the other 2 are already posted) that was supposed to be a break from "Advanced Modelers Syndrome" Even though it is box stock, including the pilot instead of belts, it fought me all the way.[...]

Something Different

The now defunct Western Pacific airlines was one of the first leasing their aircraft as "Flying Billboards". They advertised mainly for casinos, cartoon shows & schools such as this one. This is Minicrafts's 737-300 with Daco decals.

From the Dark Side

This is a Revell of Germany 1/72nd Abrahms with resin stowage. Can't beat R of G in braille scale armor. The markings are dry transfer. Just a touch of weathering.

Tamiya F-84

This is one of my rare forays into 1/48th, Strictly OOB. Not even any seatbelts, Finished with the original formula Alclad

Think Cheap

I enjoy trying to make something out of an inexpensive kit. This is a Hobby Boss 1/72 Bf-109g-6 in Georg Amon's markings from JG 53. I did cram an Eduard PE interior into it mainly for the instrument panel & belts. I'd guess my total investm[...]

Ben Hall’s P-51

This is how this aircraft appeared in the 1964 season. Flown in a stock cofiguration. Tamiya 1/48. The "Seattle Miss" name & the Space Needle logo are homemade decals, the registration number is a dry transfer & everything else is paintwork.
