I am 59 years old and live in the SF bay area. I mostly build in 1/72 aircraft and will sometimes do something in 1/48 if the subject strikes my interest. I am also a volunteer aboard the USS Hornet CV/CVA/CVS-12 in Alameda, CA helping run the radio room and amateur radio station on board with the callsign NB6GC.
Here is my Hasegawa 1/48 HS-129B-1. This is built OOB with the exception of PE seatbelts. Painted with Gunze acrylics and weathered with pastels, oils, and silver pencil. A very nice kit to build with no problems encountered.

This is my latest build completed a few months ago. This is the 1/72 Hasegawa A6M2b Zero. The model is OOB with the exception of PE seatbelts. I used Gunze Mr Color lacquers to paint it and it was weathered with oils, pencils and pastels.
