I came back to the hobby about five years ago after a short hiatus of about thirty years when career and family got in the way! I was amazed by the number and quality (in most cases!) of kits available to us nowadays, and of course all the aftermarket stuff that we used to have to scratch build in the old days.

I have attended various model shows since returning and sadly, can't help noticing how few youngsters attend. I suppose if it hasn't got a screen and a joystick it is boring!

My main interest is anything that got flung off a British carrier but like most of you I can be seduced away by anything that tickles my fancy. Over the years I built everything. Aircraft, cars, AFVs and ships. These days fading eyesight and manual dexterity tends to lead me towards the larger scales but importantly I'm still having fun!
