I’m 61 years old and started building scale models when I was 9 or 10 years old. I primarily build military aircraft. I took about a 20 year break in modeling due to work and traveling. I have worked in the aerospace industry for the last 40 years, spending 14 years at McDonnell-Douglas and then Boeing. I started modeling again in 2012 when I was laid up several months due to a medical issue. I’ve been building ever since.
