Semi retired RN (A) with an MBA. 45 years in the NHS - mainly emergency care and senior management of such. As a lad, all the time in the world to build Airfix models, but no money. In my prime, loads of money to buy kits and accessories, but no time. Now, both the time and the money. I'm getting a bit better with each kit, but still nothing I would want to show anyone on - line. I struggle with masking wheels (although I have a stencil and have watched all the advice videos). Especially fond of WW1 'planes, because, for some strange reason, I have mastered the art of rigging and am quite good at scratch building tiny turn buckles.

Married, three sons - all grown up and have their own lives now.

Interesting fact. I grew up on a council estate a stones' throw for Heathrow in the sixties and seventies. Used to be able to sit right next to 28 R above the tunnel. Tridents, 707's, 727's, Caravelle's, Viscounts, Vanguards, Coronados, Brittania's, IL - 18's, IL 62's, TU 154's, TU 104's a (rare - even then) Kar Air DC-6 cargo to Reykjavík (first flight out on weekday mornings) and a regular DC - 3. Plus many more.

What I would have given for a high resolution camera back in the day.
