I have been interested in the building aspect of model making. I love building dirty trucks that look used. Show trucks are great to look at but built-to-look used is what does it for me. I’ve been building trucks since 2011. Before that I’ve been building modern military vehicles since 2002. Must say that truck building is fun and nicer on the eyes, if you old chaps know what I mean.
The material used here are form board through out the entire diorama. The asphalt is represented by fine grade sand paper. The sidewalk is formboard painted with a concrete color mix, I had mixed at my local paint store. I used the same paint mi[...]
The tractor is a kit from Italeri with modification done to it. The trailer was scratch built. The Steel plats were made from cardboard.

Here is a What-if model I built some years ago. The inspiration for this model was put into reality after seeing Igor Sobolevsky wonderful 3D art station work called 'Axiom Racing'. His 3d version is just breath taking. The scale is 1/20.
Yep. I am a sci-fi builder as well. :) This build was inspired from a 3D artist drawing of a wasteland hover bike, I found on the net. The 3D drawing gave me the fuel to build something similar. But as always, I kind of like to tweak things to g[...]
The tractor unit is mostly heavily modified from two kits and some minor scratch building. I also added a 99% scratch built trailer based on two different trailers from pics off the net and from one in my area. So I hope you enjoy the photos.
This diorama was scratch built diorama built back in 2014. The scale is 1/35. The dio is pretty much done for the exception of one more figure to be added. The last figure will be a boy pointing to the corner of the building, alerting the insurg[...]
This is my latest build I have been working on for some time now. It's a heavy modification of the M915 kit from Trumpeter. As always I decided to spice things up a bit as usual. I wanted to do something different. So, I kitbashed the trailer an[...]
