I've been building the large-scale (1:8) Pocher models from Italy for the last fifteen years. Before that, HO model railroading, which has always been my favorite. No space for it now. And I started out at about age 8 on small wagons and other miniatures. Lots of 1:24 scale cars in between. Now I'm moving into wood, with western wagons and aircraft. Retirement also gives me more time for my other passion, nature photography. Now the challenge is getting the eyes to hold out for the close work!
