Allan coming along quite well. The added detail in this scale is excellent. With the Victor I have the High Flight upgrade PE and resin set it will really help the base kit and it is quite extensive and will really bring the Matchbox/Revell kit up to speed. But I know it will be quite intense to get it all done. This will be a long term project. I have 2 of them. Your Valiant looks great so far.

A bit more work on the inlets, a coat of primer grey on the tail to see how it looks and I've decided on the subject to be modeled !

The way those resin inlays worked out is fantastic. I looked at the pictures over again and I can’t tell the difference. Great choice of subject too and a chance for some trademark masking to boot. Seeing the markings and the way she will look in the final reckoning is exciting!

The fans on the back of the inlets, some masking on prior to some black paint and the wing now on the fuselage !

This has been a great build journal to read and follow along Allan.
That's a great idea with the foil under the lights. It looks like very thin sheet stock ? Or is it regular household foil ?
