I am going to continue this thread here which I should've applied it to in the first place. It is my own GB sheesh.

the WIP was originally started in the Aircraft Groups. I will just start where I left off.

With the halves mated and most of the cockpit completed, next is to work on some exterior details.

1st a the LH side insert panel is attached to the LH rear 1/4 of the fuselage.

Next the front and rear seats have the PE belts applied and set aside to set.

The upper intake is then attached at the top section of the engine compartment.

Then the intake upper panel is prepped trimmed and installed above the main engine intakes.

    The LH/RH intakes are installed.

Next up some lower details, install the seats,

    More to follow...

Cool to see someone doing a helicopter, Chuck (@uscusn). This should be a fun build with lots of paint schemes available.

Thanks George, I am going to really try to at least have one helo on the bench as I have quite a few in the stash, about a 50/50 split in 72nd 48th scale as well as a couple in 35th scale

Interesting, Chuck (@uscusn). I also have a bunch of helos in the stash, and I really like building them. I don't do many of them because their rotors tend to take up a bunch of shelf space. I have the old Hawk Kaman HH-43 Husky that I want to do soon, but it will take a bunch of work to make it look presentable.

George, will try to have at least have a helo in progress once completing a project. That Kaman Husky is a classic, hope to see that someday.

Time to get back into the Hind, working on the lower front section.

1st to attach the front chin pod under the forward nose section.

Next a pod is assembled and attached to the port side of the chin pod.

A smaller avionics pod is then attached to the starboard side of the chin pod/

    ]

The front and rear seats are installed.

The Rh rear APU grille is attached to the right side upper engine compartment section.

Next the forward panel is installed into the front inner section of the nose, the control boxes just forward of the front compartment. Once installed it is painted black.

    Next up the wings
