That scheme is excellent, in fact I have a Monogram Mirage 2000 in 48th scale that I have with some AM decals for a French aircraft that served in the Gulf War. Haven't had the time to build a French Mirage or Jaguar that participated as well as some helo's Nice work Spiros

@fiveten - You can zap that silvering on those decals on the elevons by slicingthem with a #11 tip and then flooding it with decal solvent, which will get rid of the air under the decals that is causing this, and when they settle you'll never know what slicing you did.
