In 1986, the U.S.Navy leased for one year, 12 Israeli Kfirs, a direct defendant of the French Mirage 5. These aircraft, designated F-21A, were to supplement the Navy's 43rd Aggressor Squadron's fleet. The F-21 has a performance envelope comparable to the MiG-21 and -23.
It's been a while since I built this model, but if I remember correctly, I did convert it from a Mirage kit and made my own markings.
