    Thanks a lot Gentlemen!

I did find some time today for the Crusader to get the main wheel wells in

Sanding I will do when both fuselage halfes are glued together, but first the front wheel well, the pit, the air intake and the exhaust ...

    Thanks for looking in

Now it is done, all the resin parts have find their place and are modified to fit in

so now painting the pit can be started and then I can close the fuselage.

    Thanks for looking in

So, here we are, smearing with paint ...

The ejector seat is not glued yet. Next step will be to glue the cockpit tube in and close the fuselage.

    Thanks for looking in

Nice work on the cockpit Martin (@impisi). It has a realistic worn look to it.

it is time for some color, not? Ok, white is not really a color, but you know what I mean.

OK, so first step was black primer

then a mottling with a quite dark grey

and again some mottling of middle grey

after that a quite light grey with a mask, that mask you can see at the upper left corner

and in the end some misted layers of an off white

    a part cloesly

so, was it worth it? not sure, i'm not finished yet, but most probably the last two steps woud be enough ...

    Thanks for looking in

    Cheers
    Martin

The pre-shading looks really good, Martin (@impisi). All of that work really pays off.

The pre-shading gave the white a nice look, Martin @impisi
Definitely worth all the work if you ask me.
