    the positive on old kits is that the the amount of decals is not that high - decals finished

    Yes @gblair, those are the kit decals. Only the yellow band ones at the top of the fin, did not work, so this I'll have to paint. The old Kit decals reacted quite well to "Set" and "Sol" for the more angled positions all others were layed in between to layers of Future.

    Nice recovery on the decals Martin (@impisi). Those angled letters on the tail are quite hard to make if you go the sprayed on markings approach, so it's good you were able to use them.

    The paint is on and the first dirty layer too





    another layer of matt clear varnish and then stickit all together ... at least I hope
