My next build is going tl be the Russian ace version of the Lavochkin La-7. I'm going to do the Red version which was Capt. Aleksi Alelyukhin's re painted airplane.

Great entry, my friend @anthonyricco! Looking forward to it!
Fantastic decision to get this on build, Anthony @anthonyricco Eagerly waiting the progress on this one.
Here are some photos of the cockpit I worked on - such a pity you can barely see it as with most of the planes.

And this is what you can see when it's together - haha. Oh well - I have photos.

It's actually a very small plane - here is the 1/48 scale Lavochkin fuselage next to a 1/72 Bearcat.
Great progress, my friend @anthonyricco! Indeed it is a small aircraft (and a very beautiful one, might I add?)
Very nice results, Anthony @anthonyricco The interior looks amazing.
Thanks Spiros and John, appreciate it.
Getting some paint onto the Lavochkin. I did some mottling to get texture and slowly built up the blue paint till the shading just showed through.
Undersides look great, my friend @anthonyricco!
The texture does make the underside look beautiful, Anthony @anthonyricco
Thanks @fiveten and @johnb - yeah the top of it is red so I'm trying to work out how to get some shading and texture in there as I primed it in pink.
Updated - from pink to red to painted.
