    Agree with that, Lis @lis
This kind of masking is also my least favorite.

Count me in too for not liking masking, my friend @lis...

OD on upper surfaces. At this build painting and masking takes a lot of time.

OD looks great, including the fantastic shading that is very clearly visible, my friend @lis!

@gblair @johnb @fiveten Makeing Shading takes a lot of time, but I think result is acceptable 🙂 I wonder if the paint surface is smooth enough.

At this moment I'm thinking about this painting scheme-picture below (set of DK-Decals from Australia). To be honest from RPA a package is coming to me with markings from 34 squadron, but I think it will be a long journey.

edit. I found one picture that probably are Liberator "Z" from 31 squadron. Unfortunetly photo is quite bad, and small, so you see little.

Go for it, my friend @lis!
Seems extremely interesting, to say the least!

@fiveten I noticed that the photo of the propeller does not have the tip painted silver as on DK-Decals painting scheme.

This is true, my friend @lis, but, since the nose arts are the same, I would be surprised if the plane at the pic is not the Z plane. So, since it is the Z plane, you might very well go and paint the hubs black, which is in accordance with the pic evidence The silver hub tip you notice at the decal instructions might very well be correct for this plane at, possibly, another time (maybe later on?)

@fiveten You are right. After assembly and some clear coat bombs with racks are ready to bomb bay.
    edit:
I found the graphic of EW166. As you can see in each picture, the plane looks slightly different, so I will have to decide what the final look is.

Bombs look nice, my friend @lis!
The profiles are not always 100% correct, so by studying your available pics and using your judgement always helps!

    Great progress achieved, Lis @lis
I do like the outcome of the OD and the shading.
Finding good pictures and correct profiles is not an easy task.

@gblair @johnb @fiveten I think paint under left wing are too thick 🙁 yesterday I take of masks and I made some corrections in painting and fit bombs to bomb bay (I need to Sand repaint one element because of glue dot 🙁 . It takes me all evening and most of night. I have few accidents, because i found some little interior green paint dots on OD and I need to correct it. I'm Disapointed on this mornig.

edit. I', working now with Tamiya polishing paste and Tamyia sponge, and i think it looks better. I'm curious how it looks on airfield and how exactly and smooth the plane was painted in the field.

A pity about those paint/glue dots, Lis @lis
It does however look very neat from the pictures.
I don't think that the planes were painted that smooth in the field. It would not make sense to spent a lot of time on a perfect paintjob during wartime.

@gblair @johnb @fiveten After makeing paint smooth. I hope you like it. Also bomb bay is visible. I think I to much trust Hasegawa that all fits perfect. So my problems in bomb bay. I'm curious in vids in YT about building Liberator from Hasegawa how many mistakes guy need to correct. On vids all looks perfect, and I have after watching YT vid, problems that my build is not enaught perfect.

edit. Final job after clear coat. I hope You like it. I believe the improvement is visible, and clear coat equalized variations in fuselage.

I too could not notice anything wrong at the first pics, but, nevertheless, everything looks perfect now, my friend @lis!
