thanks George, luckily not too much was painted, as not much of it was stuck it's all in a bag of oven cleaner now.

Are you sure it's the modern kit? If so, you really lucked out.

The reason I ask is there are people still trying to unload the old kit onto unsuspecting folks.

the oven cleaner didn't do much to the undercoat, will sand it all off, some filling, scribing, and a few more bits on.

Some extra work sanding the paint off, my friend @kalamazoo! Not the best thing having to sand off and repaint. The result will be superb though!
