    Any specific reason why you will mount the horizontal stabilizer at a later stage.

    The rudder has to be painted with the french tri-color band, with the horizontal stabilizer partially covering it, so I left it off to paint the band first.

    Looks awesome, Spiros (@fiveten). The natural metal looks the part. The horizontal stabilizers look like they have no positive attachment slots, so it should be fun. Good luck.

    Is there any specific reason, you know of, why they decided to paint it like this, I cannot imagine it was for camouflage purpose.
