"I'd say that modeling is just one half of the hobby, and iModeler is the other 50%." @richardms
Gradually coming together very nicely, my friend @kalamazoo!
Thanks Spiros my friend, engines in !

Looking great, my friend @kalamazoo! Those cowlings are one of the distinctive Rapide features and you have captured the looks perfectly!
Thanks Spiros my friend, a little touching up to do and I can start adding some paint !
A coat of grey on to show the areas that need some attention and a base for the silver.
Looking great, my friend @kalamazoo! Having a "base" for the silver sounds like a good idea!
Thanks Spiros my friend, also good to check for faults, I wasn't going to repair panel lines but decided I should, a broken strut needs replacing as well !
Repairing the panel lines will definitely pay off, my friend @kalamazoo! Ahhhhh, those struts! I regularly have very interesting such times, last time, if I recall well, as with my 1/48 Otter!
A touch up of the grey and masking, not perfect but almost ready for the silver !
A coat of silver on, tail needs it also after a protective coat of Pledge on the main bit !
Looking great Allan, nice finish on that silver. I'm guessing the silver is an enamel? Looks too good to be an acrylic.
"Somehow" I strangely lost the priming/masking, but caught up to the silver application, which looks spotless, my friend @kalamazoo!
Thanks George, Humbrol enamel, a mix of 11 and 56 ! ---------- Thanks Spiros, it's hard to keep up at times ! -------------- A bit more painting done, masking removed, time to put the top wing on !

Coming together really great, my friend @kalamazoo! Silver suits the Rapide a lot!
Thanks Spiros my friend, and with the yellow bands to add some colour, --------- Top wing on, needs filling, sanding, filling, sanding, painting, you get the picture !
