    Thanks my friend @airbum!
There's something addictive between me and Vampirenoms: cannot get my hands off them!

The large quantity of red suites this silver Mistral well, Spiros @fiveten

    Decaling continues...

The boom roundels did not want to conform and disintegrated; luckilly, some leftovers of more or less the same size saved the day. Slowly, gradually and very carefully I am in the process of applying the nose ones...
Cockpit and seat under preparation, as well. The seat sported blue seat belts! More to come on this.

    Decaling finished!

Those old decals refused to follow any contour whatsoever. I persisted and, by using Future as gluing agent, I managed to somehow snuggle them down...
    Here is the result:

The future seemed to be the future for those decals, Spiros @fiveten
    Looking great.

Thanks my friend @johnb! Future saved the day!
    Meanwhile here is the seat...

...and here is the completed cockpit... Amazing how they managed to fit an ejection seat in there... I bet it would not be amongst the most spacious cockpits ...
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Nice looking seat, Spiros @fiveten
Especially in 1/72. Am I correct to say that those seatbelts are scratch build?
The cockpit looks far from spacious, not really for claustrophobic pilots.

Yep, the seat belts are masking tape, painted with a blue marker, the buckles were done with a fine tip silver pen.

After wheels attachment and some slight weathering, the final coat was applied. Here she is, drying!

Nice coating and subtle weathering, Spiros @fiveten
Even with the wheels on she remains close to the ground.

    Almost there...

I attached the windscreen and canopy. A mismatch arose there, with the windscreen's length and height seeming tad shorter than required. Anyway, I more or less attached it flush with the canopy, filling the gaps at its base with white glue.

The characteristic Mistral shoulder antenna was not addressed at the instructions, but I consulted Azur instructions, then fabricated it with stretched sprue and attached it.

Here is the Mistral, almost finished, only some touchups missing:
