When this site was launched a little more than 6 weeks ago, we set the maximum number of images post in the group area to 4. This somewhat low value was chosen for the initial run-up period, until we could be sure about the stability and performance of the image uploading and processing functions - which by the way rank among the most technically complex elements of iModeler. Also, as image hosting requires a lot of storage space, and we wanted to gather some data based on real uploads before proceeding. This we did through a healthy sample of 2,700 images which have been added to iModeler to date.
Today we are extending the upload limit to a maximum of 24 images per post, both in articles and in group posts.
One of the core principles behind iModeler is not sending people off to Photobucket, Flickr or other external services in order to share pictures.
I hope everyone will enjoy the new posting freedom. Please continue to let us know about any problems or suggestions.
