Users trying to access iModeler this morning may have experienced trouble getting to the site.

As you read this message, the problem has been most likely brought to a successful conclusion after a busy 5 hours at the iModeler office :), and here's the information about what happened.

About 8AM GMT this morning one of the files stored in the site cache (a module that we use to speed up the delivery of pages to your browser) had become corrupted, whereupon iModeler got "stuck" when trying to execute its program code. As you might know, pages at iModeler are always created dynamically (in other words, the're programs), so the result of this mishap was that pages timed out without being served, while some other pages were delivered extremely slowly.

After some in-depth analysis to the cause of the issue, we have managed to repair the site by disabling the cache, clearing the offending cache data, testing and then restoring the site again to full functionality.

    This hopefully solves the problem.
Pardon the inconvenience and please keep us posted if there are any remaining issues!

    Happy modeling...
