Apologies for the lack of support recently, Allan. She’s looking sleek; looks like you’ve had a fair bit of clear-up to do on this kit.

Couple of interesting points on the movie, ‘Smithy’ (which you probably know, but are fun for others) - the aircraft in the film was the ACTUAL ‘Southern Cross’ - and I read that for the US release, Hollywood changed the name to ‘Pacific Adventure’ and removed any reference to Auastralia!

Glad to see you guys get a little rain!

Thank you David for that info', the rain is good but some of us are getting a little too much, a bit more work on the cockpit, the instrument panel was no where near the shape of the PE, I hope to close the fuselage soon !

The windscreen on with Pledge, the frames painted, some masking on to touch up a couple of panel lines, a final bit of undercoat, more masking and the wing covered ready for some blue paint on the fuselage !
