When is a war not a war? When it's a cold war. Ships and aircraft playing cat and mouse games, Working the flight deck flight ops to flight ops, sometimes in darkened ship condition, launching the alert five ,it may not have been a war, but it got scary sometimes for a young sailor. Love that movie, the last seen with Slim Pickens riding the bomb...
