Thanks for the invitation.
I will start something more serious in another WIP, later this week.

Hi Bogdan. That’s blue sky thinking. You are really flying on this one and I hope the thread takes off. In fact I hope it’s a run(a)way success.
Thanks for joining the Group, Bogdan. Look forward to seeing your ideas take shape and I’m delighted to have you with us.

Bogdan, you crazy human being – I thought you were joking about this. You really are building this. Can’t wait to see the ‘serious’ Build. Actually, I can’t wait to see this one finished…
Good work on those floats.
The serious build will be…
I know what this is, but will leave you to reveal, Bogdan. Quite rightly won an Oscar for costume and design. Sumptuous looking film and I can’t wait to see what your build will be.
Fantastic. I absolutely guarantee that no modeler has ever posted a WiP of THIS aircraft on ANY modeling site. Take a bow, Bogdan.
Thanks @david leigh smith

Oh, that’s neat! My boy loves that movie and also “Cars”, and for a while now I’ve been tinkering with the idea of building a “realistic” version of both characters: for the Planes one, mating the fuselage of a cropduster with T-33 wings, giving it the same paint job. Same thing for McQueen: picking up a stock car kit, painting it red with “95” numbers but with real sponsors which logos look like the fictional ones.
