I also have a previously made model. I finished this just last month, but have not posted it yet. So, here is Luke in his X-Wing with R2 speeding toward the exhaust port, pursued by Darth Vader and another TIE Fighter.

Seriously, you are a Star Wars machine, John. These builds are quite literally out of this world and you can see by the amount of comments how much we are appreciating them. Fabulous work. The Death Star itself would have been a worthy subject for a thread.
Well done, John! The Force is with you!
Stop the race!
Nice work! Looks very cool
Thanks Carl 🙂
Thank you David 🙂
I did enjoy these models very much Jeff 🙂
LOL Paul 🙂
John, can you (or anyone else) explain to me why the call signs before attacking the trench go; Red 10, Red 7, Red 3, Red 6, Red 9, Red 2, Red 11, then finally Red 5 (Luke). Surely when Red Leader (I assume that was Red 1) asks to sign off, they'd go from last to first or first to last to avoid confusion/talking over each other?
@johnr19067
This has been bugging me for YEARS. Yep. Need to get...out...more.
David, I guess Luke was just slower than the others. Maybe they're going by height. Maybe he likes Luke best and saves him for last. Or ...
Oh ... never mind! (Think Miss Emily Litella)
Hey, Jeff, I’ll try the numbers for the lottery - 10, 7, 3, 6, 9, 2, 11, 5. If I win, I’m moving out to Indi!
Hey! That's a smashing idea! You are always welcome here in Indy! Since it was your idea, I'll split those winnings with you 51/49. Did I mention that I plan to use those numbers, too?! LoL!
Uhhh - YOU get the 51% - I'll have the 49%. Or not ...
Great build that brings back fond memories of watching Star Wars for the first time. When you no longer want it, please send it to my place. 🙂
Darn, I was going to say the same thing! You in good health, John? Never too early to think about your models when we go to that big stash in the hereafter...
